Futura Cinema is a European programme developed in collaboration with festivals, incubators and hubs, dedicated to innovation in the film industry. Drawing on collective intelligence, it addresses the key challenges facing independent cinema, whether it be winning back audiences, restoring cinema’s place in cultural life, or fostering innovation.

The fourth edition of the Incubation Programme will enter its fifth and final stage at FilmFest Hamburg, where six projects will be presented through live demonstrations and pitch sessions. Industry professionals will select their favourite project, based on criteria including the quality of its execution, coherence and transformative value.
