From Brazil, India, Chile and Poland to the streets of Brooklyn and fantastical worlds: FilmFest Hamburg Junior invites young film fans to discover amazing stories from all over the world about friendship and family, great adventures, new beginnings and surprising encounters. In addition, we offer Junior Shorts for the very youngest, free screenings for schools and nurseries, and a behind-the-scenes look at an animated film in the Junior Film Workshop. Look forward to enjoying films together, meeting international guests and watching stories that spark curiosity, touch the heart and open up new perspectives.

FILMFEST HAMBURG JUNIOR
FILMFEST HAMBURG is renaming its children’s film programme: the former MICHEL Children’s and Youth Film Festival will become FILMFEST HAMBURG JUNIOR. Under new leadership, more closely integrated into the main festival and with a renewed focus on young cinema audiences, the section is entering the new festival year with a fresh profile.
