Synopse

SERIES Fame in three minutes: an unsparing look at the effects of social media on three young people. In a suburb of Bremen Leo, K.J. and Sierra are torn between the desire for a better life and the task of keeping their family together – with a father (Denis Moschitto) who is out of his depth, a young sister, a broken fridge and social services, who are far too nosy. They dream of being rich and famous. When they come across the game "3 Minutes", this dream suddenly seems to be within their grasp: the app calls on people to join a spontaneous live-stream, where they have just 3 minutes to entertain the audience. But how high is the price of three minutes of fame?

Mahnas Sarwari is an author and director and his work includes Fixeophobie, Der gebende Blick and Yallah Habibi and more recently the TV series Kroymann and Echt Friends.
Mark Monheim is a director and author. His work includes About a Girl, Alles Isy, Wir sind die Welle, German Crime Story – Gefesselt (FFHH 2022) as well as several episodes of Tatort. His films and series have won many awards, including the Bavarian TV Prize.
