CESAR AWARDS

24 February 2024

Justine Triet’s film Anatomy of a Fall was awarded a total of six Césars on 23 February, including best Film and Sandra Hüller as best Actress. Chicken for Linda! by Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach was honoured as best animated film.

Other awards for Anatomy of a Fall were presented in the categories Best Director, Best Original Screenplay (Justine Triet, Arthur Harari), Best Supporting Actor (Swann Artaud) and Best Editing (Laurent Sénéchal). Arieh Worthalter was honoured with an award for Best Leading Actor for his role in The Goldman Case by Cédric Kahn. Adèle Exarchopoulos won the César for Best Supporting Actress in All Your Faces by Jeanne Herry. The Nature of Love by Monia Chokri was honoured as Best Foreign Film.

The 49th César Awards took place on 23 February 2024 at the Olympia Concert Hall in Paris. The film awards, presented by the French Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma, honoured the best productions of the 2023 cinema year in 24 categories.
