Synopse

June 30th, 2002. The eyes of the world are focussed on Yokohama, where Brazil will play Germany in the World Cup Final. Meanwhile, in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, 22000 spectators gather to watch the "Other Final" – between the two countries at the bottom of the FIFA world football rankings, the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan (202nd) and the British Caribbean protectorate, Montserrat (203rd). Johan Kramer’s documentary explores the very different cultures of the two teams involved, and shows how football can be a global language that unites very different people and countries.
