Synopse
Margret, a middle-class widow, and Siegmar a former foreman, meet and decide to get married for fear of growing old alone. As they move in together, Siegmar brings his cat, which puts Margret on the warpath. The ensuing war of nerves destroys all feelings of affection and a deadly end looms… Based on a novel by Georges Simenon.
