Synopse
A new beginning, a mysterious imp and an adventure between fantasy and reality. After the death of her mother, 11-year old Hania and her father move to a new town where she at first feels like a fish out of water. She is teased at school because she firmly believes in sprites. When a medallion that was a valuable memento of her mother is stolen, she wants to find it again at all costs – and must prove that sprites exist. Together with the inventive outsider Michał, she starts a race against time to find the mysterious imp Sindri.
Regie
Krzysztof Komander is a Polish director, screenwriter and editor. His feature debut, Pixie. The New Beginning, had its world premiere at the 2025 Locarno Film Festival and won the award for Best Polish Production at the Young Horizons Film Festival.
