Synopse
Gripping, many-layered and inspired by Krzysztof Kieślowski, the new film from Asghar Farhadi tells the story of an author gone astray. Parisian author Sylvie (Isabelle Huppert) is looking for inspiration for her new novel and uses an old telescope to observe the goings-on in the flat opposite. Here, the brothers Nicolas (Vincent Cassel) and Théo (Pierre Niney) and their colleague Nita (Virginie Efira) dub films. What Sylvie sees, she turns into literature – and what she can’t hear, she invents. When she ropes in young Adam (Adam Bessa) to assist her in her everyday life, she has no idea that her stories will soon be unleashed on an unsuspecting world.
