Synopse

The Kiez cult series is back – with a new episode about a killer who can’t tell right from left. Gangster Angelo Amtmann (Frederick Lau) is released from prison for his birthday. With ankle tag and strict orders to steer clear of St. Pauli. But that’s precisely where Angelo heads to celebrate his bírthday and his release. To take revenge on his rival Erichsen (Armin Rohde), Angelo hires contract killer Stiv Rubin (Laurence Rupp). But instead of Erichsen, he shoots Angelo by mistake. Is it down to the killer’s inability to tell right from left? Or was the death not an accident at all?

Regie

Lars Becker has been making cinema and TV productions since the 1980s and his work is often shown at FilmFest Hamburg, including his ZDF crime series Nachtschicht and the TV film Der Millionenraub. His work is characterized by social relevance, strong characters and a realistic narrative style. His films have won many awards, including the German TV Prize in 2016 (Zum Sterben zu früh, 2015) and the German TV Crime Film Prize (Amigo, 2011).
