Synopse

Successful author, Sara (Lena Endre), is distraught over the death of her only child and lives alone in the house designed by her ex-husband, Peter (Bjørn Floberg), whose walls are like a prison to her. When she rents out the basement to the Serbian musician Bogdan (Goran Bregovic), his escapades bring a brief ray of light into her life. But further suffering is just around the corner. Unni Straume’s fourth film is a soul-destroying melodrama in the style of Bergmann.
