Synopse
Three lives, three destinies, one shared inheritance: Set in 1932, 1937 and 2017, La Bola negra tells a story of desire, pain and longing. Sebastián, Rafael and Alberto have never met, yet the three men are inextricably connected to each other. Inspired by one of the last, incomplete works of Federico García Lorca, the film spans an arc between prewar Spain and the present – an epic love story with great emotional force.
Regie
Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo are directors, screenplay authors and producers. They created the popular series Paquita Salas (2016–2019) and Veneno (2020) and are seen as the most influential creative pair in Spanish media. In 1926, La bola negra won the prize for Best Direction at Cannes.
