Synopse

What if the end of a relationship coincided with the beginning of an armed conflict in a neighbouring country? This dryly laconic Lithuanian drama dissects scenes of a separation somewhere between selfishness and solidarity. Vilnius 2022. Successful manager Marija has chosen the worst possible moment for an honest appraisal of her marriage with her husband Vytas: the day before Russia invaded Ukraine. Now the couple have to deal simultaneously with the divorce, an influx of refugees and a midlife crisis.
