Synopse
Teshanj is a town in Bosnia with a market place, pleasant people and traditions. But beneath the surface there is ethnic intolerance, criminality, prostitution and corruption. The news that US President Clinton will visit the town and be made an honorary citizen gives the town’s inhabitants a week to make everything spic and span. But can democracy be conjured up in seven days? Documentary-maker Pjer Zalica’s feature film debut is a strong, political satire with black humour, and a plea to give the present more time.
