Synopse
ANIMATION A race against forgetting. A funny, moving fantasy adventure about friendship is the latest work of genius from DreamWorks Animation. The Philippines in the 1990s. Jo and Raissa have been inseparable since they were little, but now they are facing a crossroads in their lives: Raissa is going to the USA to study. During their last evening together, they discover a mysterious portal that takes them to the island of Nakali. When they discover that the price for getting back home is the loss of their shared memories, a desperate race against time begins: they have to leave the island before they start to forget each other for ever.
Regie
Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado are two US directors, storyboard artists and screenplay authors. They attained international recognition working for DreamWorks Animation and directed The Croods – A New Age (2020) and the Oscar-nominated Puss in Boots – The Last Wish (2022).
