Synopse
Lourenço’s shop stinks to high heaven. Poor people sell him their junk and he just about gets by. When he falls in love with the waitress across the road, he is in need of a currency he knows little of: affection. This film cleverly mixes the grotesque with the ironic and won the FIPRESCI film critics prize at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival.
