Synopse
An eccentric Norwegian drama about two sisters returning to their past on the Canary Islands. Diana (Helene Bjørneby) and Lily (Renate Reinsve) grew up as the only children in an all-inclusive resort on Gran Canaria, where their lively mother Vera worked as a tour hostess. 25 years later, the sisters have put a lot of distance between themselves and the island – and each other: Diana works in a kindergarten in Norway, while as a former model Lily is something of a celebrity on the Hamburg scene. But after the sudden death of their mother they are forced to return to the island. The reunion becomes a fast-paced journey into the past.
Regie
Itonje Søimer Guttormsen studied Direction at the Norwegian Film School before doing her Master’s in 2018 at the Valand Academy in Göteborg. She realizes film and art projects and lives in Oslo.
