Synopse

ANIMATION A brave wild cat, a vanished mother and a big journey of adventure. Wild cat Kona gets a compass for her 4th birthday and together with her mother and grandmother sets about exploring. When her mum is dragged off by dogs, she and her grandmother are alone. Ten years later, Kona leaves the shelter of the forest and sets out to find her mum. She’s accompanied by the abandoned puppy Colin, who is looking for his father. When they’re joined by Bernard, a bear who’s run away, a journey full of adventures begins.

Regie

Gabriel Osorio Vargas is a Chilean director, screenwriter and co-founder of the animation studio Punkrobot. His short film Bear Story became the first Chilean film to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2016. His feature debut, Brave Cat, premiered at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2026, where it received the Annecy Presents Audience Award.
