Synopse

SERIES Researched in great detail and brilliantly produced, the series paints an accurate picture of a security apparatus out of its depth and focuses on subjects like how a democracy should deal with extremism. Already a year before the attack on 19th December 2016, police working undercover come across Anis Amri – a unpredictable and increasingly dangerous young man. But, despite repeated warnings, neither the BKA nor the intelligence service take the threat seriously. A mixture of bureaucracy and arrogance mean that the investigators are powerless when the tragedy takes its course.

Regie

David Nawrath grew up in Germany and Iran and studied direction at the German TV and Film Academy in Berlin. His short film Was bleibt was nominated for the German and European Short Film Prize. Since 2011, Nawrath has been making series and films for cinema and TV, including Atlas, Euer Ehren and several episodes of the Polizeiruf 110.
