Synopse

In her new film, Jeanne Herry paints a multi-layered portrait of a young woman, telling a story of love and longing, fears and addictions. Garance (Adèle Exarchopoulos) is a talented young actress who has not yet received the recognition she craves. She lives in a flat in Paris and drifts from job to job. She feels increasingly keenly how her fleeting acquaintances, her growing anxiety and her uncontrolled drinking are affecting her life. Only her relationship with her ailing sister and her budding romance with Pauline offer her any stability. Yet Garance knows she must face her demons, and sets out on a difficult journey.

Regie

Jeanne Herry began her acting career in Louis Malle’s A Comedy in May (1990). In 2005, she published her first novel, "80 étés". In 2014, she directed her first feature film, Elle l’adore, which was nominated for a César Award for Best First Feature. All Your Faces screened at FilmFest Hamburg in 2023. Another Day is her fourth feature film and was screened in competition at Cannes.
