In previous years, we have regularly offered exciting workshops ahead of the festival, where amazing trailers were created under expert guidance. All workshops for this year have already taken place, but keep checking back here – next year, you’ll have the chance to take part in new activities and creative hands-on projects!
Stop-motion adventure during the summer holidays!
During the summer holidays, we once again offered a holiday workshop this year, kindly supported by the Stiftung Kulturglück. Over four days, participants created the trailer for this year’s MICHEL – YOUR film, which will be shown in the autumn at MICHEL in the Studio Kino and shared on our social media channels.
Although this year’s workshop has already taken place, don’t worry – it will be back next year! Keep an eye on our website and social media pages to stay updated on new workshops and hands-on activities at MICHEL.
Many minds, a thousand ideas – and plenty of stop-motion magic! In the 2025 trailer workshop, children aged 9 to 13 worked, tinkered, and filmed using clay, paper, and cameras. The four-day workshop, led by Katrin Weber, took place at the end of August 2025. The finished trailer premiered at the Studio Kino.
