Mittagsstunde Script Reading & Preview

As part of the FILMFEST HAMBURG anniversary events before the festival begins, director Lars Jessen, screenwriter Catharina Junk and actor Peter Franke will read from the script of “Mittagsstunde” on 20 September at Levantehaus. This will be followed by an exclusive preview of the film at Passage Kino.

 

In the presence of the director Lars Jessen, screenwriter Catharina Junk, actor Peter Franke will read scenes from the screenplay for Mittagsstunde, which is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Dörte Hansen. In Lars Jessen’s film, which will be released in German cinemas on 22 September by Majestic Filmverleih, 47-year-old Ingwer (Charly Hübner) returns to his home village of Brinkebüll and to his parents Sönke (Peter Franke) and Ella (Hildegard Schmahl). But he hardly recognises the place of his childhood in the North Frisian nowhere.
