The programme of the Explorer Conference #3 is online

The Explorer programme is fixed and invites you to Hamburg on 7 October to shed light on the changes in producing for film, television and streaming.

How does change work? How do we lose the fear of it? How do we want to produce in the future? The omnipresent change in society is also reflected in film production. What moves European filmmakers in this process, how do they meet necessary adjustments and how do they use newly emerging opportunities? During the conference, which will open with a keynote address by futurologist Christiane Varga under the motto Change of Systems, German and international speakers will give an insight into their work and strategies and impart future-oriented knowledge. In their contributions, they will shed light on current phenomena and developments in a film industry in a state of upheaval. The conference is aimed at producers, financiers, funding institutions, students and all those interested in the transformation and reconfiguration of the film industry.
