Story
The opening shot is the eye of a bird. And quite as if he were a bird of passage, Poika falls in love with shy Umur only to lose her again. Their bittersweet drama is acted out against the backdrop of the disturbingly beautiful landscape of Lapland, the loneliest place in all of Finland. When Umur leaves him to face her own death, he follows her like a migratory bird instinctively knowing his way.
