Story

Love in the age of »Generation Perfect«: the box-office hit from Norway tells the refreshing coming-of-age story of two young people, who despite their differences grow together. Frida is different – not because she is, but because she wants to be. The 15-year old has no desire to be part of »Generation Perfect«, in stark contrast to Marius, the sunny boy of the class, who wants to be the best at whatever he does. When the two are put together in class study tandem, Marius sees a good opportunity to prove how great he is again. Frida for her part has no intention of letting herself be helped or “repaired”. But soon, learning becomes loving – and Frida and Marius plunge into an unusual, turbulent relationship.

Director

With his 2010 debut Twigson ties the Knot, MARTIN LUND (*1979) scored one of the biggest cinema hits in Norwegian history. His next film The Almost Man (2012) won the main prize at the Karlovy Vary international festival. Lund is also creator of the TV series The Games, which has been sold to more than 40 countries since 2014.
