Story
DOCUMENTARY Mexico, a land in the grip of necropolitics: The film documents the symbiotic relationship between cartel, government and big business which is claiming the lives of more and more activists. The Mexican countryside is turning to ash and dust, dismembered, ravaged, burnt. Behind barbed wire fences, forests, rivers and mountains are falling into the hands of private companies. Once transformed, the countryside becomes a separate universe, an unpredictable and dangerous area in which the new rulers and their mercenaries silence the local population.
