Story
Do I stay or do I go? Ulrich Köhler‘s and Henner Winckler‘s sensitive filmic examination of the challenges of growing up. Jette (Maj-Britt Klenke) is about to start a voluntary year of community service in South America. Her single dad Urs (Sebastian Rudolph) strongly recommended it to her to prevent her from ending up just hanging about in the provinces. But Jette is torn between her boyfriend (Thomas Schubert) and the desire to live up to her father’s expectations. At the airport she decides against the trip and goes into hiding. When Urs finds her, he has to see that he can’t force his daughter’s development.
