Crash Test Aglaé

Story

Aglaé has two outstanding characteristics: she is incredibly stubborn – and loves her job in the crash test department of a car factory. When the management announce that production is being moved to India, the young woman doesn’t hesitate for a second: she’ll move with it. She’d rather be homeless than jobless. And anyway, she loves cricket. Together with two colleagues, who see their personal outsourcing to Asia with skepticism, Aglaé sets out in a clapped-out car on an incredible journey to the other side of the world. Crash Test Aglaé is an anarchic road movie with wonderfully laconic humour.

Director

ERIC GRAVEL studied at Concordia University in Montreal and is a co-founder of the independent short film movement Kino in Paris. After 20 shorts, Crash Test Aglaé is his debut feature.
