Story

What do you do without a living will for your closest relatives? A TV drama of extreme currency. When fun-loving Martina (Hedi Kriegeskotte) collapses in front of her daughter Ulrike (Silke Bodenbender) and goes into a coma, an abyss opens at the feet of Ulrike and her sister Sandra (Anneke Kim Sarnau). Because their mother has made no arrangements, they have to act according to what they presume her will would have been. Ulrike seeks answers in her faith, Sandra is more interested in pragmatic, medical solutions. The attitudes of the siblings could not be more different. And then there’s the nightmare of all the bureaucratic obstacles.

Director

CHRISTIANE BALTHASAR (*1970) studied at the Ludwigsburg Film Academy and since 1999 has been shooting mainly television films for successful crime series such as Bella Block, Polizeiruf 110, Tatort and Kommissarin Heller.
