Story
Tim Greene’s adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens novel is set in South Africa. Street urchin “Twist”, who grew up in an orphanage, has to work on farms and at a funeral parlour. Eventually, Twist takes things into his own hands and heads for Cape Town. There, he meets the Rastafarian “Fagin”, who trains pickpockets and bags the proceeds. A moving portrait of a child faced with an indifferent world.
