Synopse

I survived because I discovered photography and film as mediums of expression, says Gisela Tuchtenhagen, a camerawoman, who left her mark on an industry which in the 1960s was almost male-dominated. Her flight into this medium was a successful one - since the 1970s she's held her own as a documentary film-maker. This portrait accompanies her new film The Publican, the Pub and the Public Party.
