Synopse
When her mother dies, 19-year-old half-orphan Zimbabwe travels to South Africa, looking for work to feed her siblings. Without any papers or rights, she seems destined for prostitution. Darrell Roodt was commissioned for a short film by the NGO International Organization for Migration, then producer Nicola Simmonds convinced him of shooting a feature film with lay actors. A gripping insight into an African country most recently making headlines with faked elections and corruption.
