Synopse

Age recommendation: 7 years and older.

DOCU-FICTION Explorer Willi has travelled to so many places. Finally back in his home village, he just wants to rest. Willi’s 10-year old neighbour Luna is fighting to protect the habitat of the local frogs because Farmer Huber has just gone and filled in the village pond! Luna and her mysterious Granny, who’s an amphibian researcher, persuade Willi to join in the search for the magic toad. He is caught up in an environmental adventure in which he meets all kinds of colourful and transparent frogs. Will Willi be successful and get Farmer Huber to see reason? And why does the magic toad resemble Luna’s Granny so strongly?

MARKUS DIETRICH (*1979) studied theatre sciences in Berlin and media design in Weimar. After his debut feature Sputnik, which was shown in 2013 in the MICHEL section, he has made numerous films and series for children and won several prizes.
