Synopse
After his ex-wife has been awarded custody of their two sons, Paco (Mathieu Kassovitz) flees with the children into the forest. From now on, the father and his 5 and 7-year old boys are on the run. But at the same time completely free. They constantly change their identities and their hiding-places, immerse themselves in nature and have unique encounters with flora and fauna. The three are self-sufficient, have left all conventions far behind and can sustain their escape for 11 years. Until the boys become teenagers and begin to question their father's alternative lifestyle. Wild Life is a family drama and adventure film in one and is based on the true story of Xavier Fortin and his sons, which caused a major controversy in France.
