Synopse
The Argentinian Julián and the Belgian Nicolás are priests in a Buenos Aires slum, where drug gangs are involved in a bitter turf war.The skeleton of a hospital towers over the desolate quarter - home to the priests and some poor families.While Nicolás would like to build a new hospital, Julián fights with dark memories from his past, the limits of his commitment and his forbidden feelings for the social worker Lucina.The drug war worsens by the day, increasing Juliàn's inner conflict.

PABLO TRAPERO (*1971) is seen as one of Argentinian cinema's best story-tellers. In 2012, FILMFEST HAMBURG howed his film White Elephant. The Clan ran in competition in Venice and in Argentina attracted audiences of more than 500,000 in its first four days - a record for Argentinian cinema.
