Synopse
DOCUMENTARY Anti-establishment for more than 40 years: with subversive verve and hitherto unseen insights, the film portrays the past and present of this exceptional British designer. She is the most glittering and eccentric figure in the world of fashion, an icon of non-conformism and limitless creativity: even at 77, every new collection from Vivienne Westwood still causes a stir. The former primary school teacher began her career in fashion in the early 1970s alongside the inventor of the Sex Pistols Malcolm McLaren and became the pioneer of punk fashion. Her breakthough came in the 1980s and 90s with collections inspired by previous centuries. The film talks to friends and companions of the fashion legend and portrays an extraordinary woman, who besides being an eccentric aesthete is also an energetic political and social activist.
