Synopse
A young woman is drawn in to the misery of refugees in South-East Asia and finds herself on the border between this world and the afterlife. If Ling can just make it to Taiwan, her life can at last begin. At the moment she's still living on the Thai-Malaysian border and saving up for the journey. As more and more Rohingya flee from Myanmar, Ling has a chance to earn some quick money. But the tough facade she puts up is worn down by what she sees and hears, and she herself has to flee – but now her destination is no longer Taiwan. What starts out as a social-realistic refugee drama, ends up plumbing the depths of the human soul.
