Synopse
A father’s love: A gripping drama about the search for a lost son in civil war-torn Syria. Adam (Nikolaj Lie Kaas), the son of a middle-class Danish family, has joined IS and turned his back on his West-European home. His father Christian is determined to bring him home. He begins a dangerous odyssey to convince his alienated son Adam by any means necessary to return. On his stony way to the Caliphate, Christian begins to grasp that he has to be prepared to sacrifice everything he believes in to be reunited with his son.

CHARLOTTE SIELING (*1960 in Denmark) began her career as an actor before switching to directing. She has made episodes for various series, including Forbrydelsen and Borgen, as well in the USA for Homeland and The Americans. Way Home is her fourth feature film.
