Synopse

Stéphane Lafleur’s new film is an absurd science-fiction comedy about the discrepancy between wish and reality. In preparation for the first manned mission to Mars, the Viking Society is conducting a behavioural experiment. Five volunteers form the B Team and will experience the expedition on Earth – with the aim of spotting and sorting out the real astronauts’ problems in advance. Sports teacher David is one of the B Team and takes the opportunity of reviving his dream of becoming an astronaut. It turns out it’s not space that appears to be infinite, but the unpredictability of human feelings.

STÉPHANE LAFLEUR (*1976 in Québec) studied at the Université du Québec à Montréal and works as a director, screenplay writer and editor. In 2014, FILMFEST HAMBURG showed his film Tu dors Nicole.
