Synopse

The film centres on eight 80-year-old ladies, deported by the Nazis from Vienna as children, via London to New York where they still live today. Mirjam Unger accompanies them in their everyday life, painting the portrait of a lively Jewish community that bears vivid traces of Vienna till today. Melodically switching between German and English, the protagonists live life in the present, not the past.
