Synopse
David is new in Migdal Ha’emek, a small town in Northern Israel. He shuts himself away with his books and music and holds his father responsible for the death of his mother. Josh is very aggressive and likes playing with his dog. Linoy dreams of being a film star, but no-one is prepared to support her. David, Josh and Linoy, three sensitive teenagers, both perpetrators and victims of violence, at school, at home and with each other. The boys start a fragile friendship which is immediately jeopardized when both fall for Linoy. Valley takes us into a world full of enmity and cruelty, offset by moments of tender beauty. A raw, haunting coming-of-age drama, in which Roy Nik stands out as David.

SOPHIE ARTUS (*1971) was born in France andstudied biology and film at Tel Aviv University. Valley is her debut feature and won an award at the Haifa film festival. Naveh Tsur won the prize for best actor.
