Synopse
Iranian translator Fariba (Jasmin Tabatabai) has fled her own country, where she is under threat of execution for having had an affair with a woman. However, having reached Germany, her asylum request is turned down. She is forced to adopt the identity of a suicide victim and ends up in a home for refugees – dressed as a man. It’s an unromantic view of German reality through the eyes of a foreigner.
