Synopse
Tony Schiermeier (Friedrich von Thun), head of the Brunnharting water works, has been burgled. Apparently though nothing has been stolen, merely the safe door forced open. Inspectors Prohacek (Senta Berger) and Langner (Rudolf Krause) investigate. Alarming things are happening in the peaceful little Bavarian town: a child dies from contaminated drinking water, then the husband of the newly elected mayor, responsible for water quality and with a reputation for strictness, is found dead. A case of sabotage endangering thousands of people's lives? A thriller about corruption and nepotism set in magnificent Alpine scenery.
