Synopse

Progress or deprivation of liberty: how dangerous is Artificial Intelligence? The Turguts are a modern, tech-savvy family: Emma, her husband Amir and their son Malik live in a state-of-the-art Smart Home. In her job as a psychotherapist too, Emma sets great store by digital technologies and with programmer Georg Bohr is developing an AI-supported therapy app. Then one of her patients commits suicide and ever more serious incidents involving the omnipresent technology start occurring. This threatens to throw Emma into turmoil. Is there a hacker at work? Is someone trying to manipulate her? Destroy her and her family? Psychothriller on a very topical subject.

MARTINA PLURA (*1985 in Neuwied) studied film in Cologne and Cuba. Her debut film Vorstadtrocker in the NDR young talent series Nordlichter premiered in 2015 at FILMFEST HAMBURG.
