Synopsis

In his second Cannes entry after Boogie, Radu Muntean tells the story about Paul (Mimi Branescu) who is married to Adriana (Mirela Oprisor) for 10 years. They have a daughter, a car, an apartment and they still seem to be in love. Paul also has an affair with Raluca (Marisa Popistasu), a 27-years-old dentist he met six months ago. Paul loves both women, but when the two of them meet by chance, he‘s forced to make a decision.

RADU MUNTEAN (*1971) gilt als Pionier der "Neuen rumänischen Welle". Zu seinen mehrfach preisgekrönten Filmen zählen The Rage (2002), Boogie (2008) und Tuesday, After Christmas (FILMFEST HAMBURG 010).
