Synopse
David Kross is inspiring as legendary goalkeeper Bert Trautmann in this unique true story. At the end of World War II, the German soldier Bernd "Bert" Trautmann is taken prisoner by British troops and interned near Manchester. During a game of football between POWs, the coach of the local club spots Bert's talent and signs him to the club. When after the end of hostilities Trautmann is transferred to the successful club Manchester City, the signing of a "Nazi goalie" sets off a wave of outrage. But the FA Cup Final of 1956 at Wembley proves to be the making of a legend.
