Synopse

Retired Chief Inspector Bruno Theweleit (Götz George) can look back on a successful career. Now he trains young policemen and women who see him as something of a legend. When cop killer Frank Keller (Jürgen Vogel) manages to take his lawyer hostage and flee, Theleweit is suddenly confronted by his past: he was the one who arrested Keller 15 years previously and played a major role in the killer getting a life sentence. Now the young policewoman Lena Frey (Rosalie Thomass) is in charge of the case and asks herself: what really happened back then? A thriller about the pointlessness of trying to cover up past injustice and the power of the truth.
