Synopse

Maj lives with her uncle Sonny in his tattoo studio. Although both of them like their life together, they keep dreaming about finding a "real family" for the girl. After all, in Sonny's opinion tattoos and children don't fit together. And yes, when he is distracted one day, Maj issues a scribble on a tough rocker's back so that she and her uncle have to leave town, before the "victim" notices the mishap. On their way to the coast they stop in a forest full of magical creatures and meet a circus family with a cuddly tiger. Maj recognises that she doesn't need a "real" family after all.

Regie

Karla von Bengtson graduated from the National Film School in Copenhagen. Her animation short The Shadow In Sara was screened at the Berlinale and won two awards at the Filmfestival in Annecy.
