Synopse
"One of us must have been adopted": sisters Marta and Kasia could hardly be more different. Marta, strong and self-confident, is a successful actress and lives alone. Kasia, mentally fragile and esoteric, is a teacher, with children and an unemployed husband. But now the women have to work together: their mother is dying and their formerly so masterful father is now weak and slowly losing control of his life. Marta and Kasia throw themselves with energy into managing the family, each in her own way – and increasingly as sisters. With humour ranging from affectionate to biting, the film tells the story of two women growing into the roles of their parents
