Synopse
Tiyaa, a member of the aristocratic family of the sultanate of Damagaran in Niger, is studying in France. In the winter holidays, she returns home to await the visit of her fiancé, who will be officially asking for her hand in marriage. He too comes from a prestigious family and her parents cannot reject such an eligible man. Until he arrives, Tiyaa spends time with her girlfriends, telling them of her secret love in Paris and hearing other tales of passion or separation from other women. The days pass - and her fiancé doesn't show up. Meticulously designed, The Wedding Ring goes deep into Sahelian society and tells of their relationship between men and women.
