Synopse
One-legged Mañe meets the "Stool Man", whose job consists of carrying people through the streets of Bogotá. A relationship develops that blurs the boundaries between good and evil. For the young director Ciro Guerra, the "silleteros" (workers who carry loads on their backs) symbolise redemption. This black-and-white fable has already been proclaimed: "The new hope of Colombian cinema".
